When Cheryl contacted me about doing a Bedtime Story for her family in their Glen Ridge, NJ home I was beyond excited. I had only seen Juliet once from afar when she was with her beautiful mother at Starbucks at least 3 years ago. I remember them laughing and playing and Cheryl just seeming like the most perfect mother. Gorgeous, happy and radiating positive energy. It is no shock to me that like their mother, both Juliet and Sloan emanate this same light. Juliet is smart and funny and into astronomy, art and Mel Brooks. She quotes lines from Young Frankenstein and rocks one ear pierced ear and I hope this never changes. She is the coolest!  Her one birthday wish at the young age of 5 is to go to Paris! Forget Disney, this kid wants nothing more then to see the Eiffel Tower with her own eyes.

Sloan is gorgeous and as cute as can be with her big brown eyes and her sweet little smirks. I am sure she will follow in her big sisters foot steps with her love for classic and elegant things.

I feel so lucky to meet and photograph families in their homes. Especially at Bedtime when the love seems to be billowing out all around. Patrick & Cheryl have a unique relationship. The way he looks at her is as if he is seeing her across the room for the very first time. It is impossible not to melt into a puddle around them with all that juicy love energy in the air. I love everything about this family and am so grateful they chose me to capture them in their element.
