Childhood Unplugged  October 2015 is extra special as it marks the 24th month I have photographed my children at play and shared it with the world through Childhood Unplugged. I am so proud of this beautiful project and how it has grown. Did you know that we have over 51k followers on Instagram?  Here is the very first Childhood Unplugged Edition I ever shared. It’s amazing to see how much I too have grown as a photographer!

Every week I try to fit in a visit to the park after school at least once. With activities, work and weather this is not always easy to do! We made it one day to celebrate Childhood Unplugged and to enjoy the beautiful Indian Summer weather we are having and brought nothing but a handful of confetti and some sunnies.

One of the things I love so much about my town is the community parks and beautiful tree filled forests that have safe paths for you to explore nature right in your own backyard. We strolled a woodsy path that led to the playground and spent some time running, jumping and playing! These memories with and of my kids just being themselves are gifts I know I will treasure forever. I treasure them so very much now I can only imagine what they will mean to me when I am a grandmother myself! I made another behind the scenes video from our time together.
