I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with the MacEvoy family at their Essex Fells, NJ home. One of my favorite ways to get to know kids is by allowing them to show me their space. Their rooms are a safe haven for them filled with their personal memories and cherished trinkets and I adore hearing about the details and the significance of both the major and minor items.

The kids wanted to show me how they learned to skateboard and bike ride and we ended our session in one of my favorite ways, by jumping in the pool with all their clothes on!
