On a picture perfect Fall day in New Jersey, I had the pleasure of photographing the Makovsky family at their home in Essex Fells. My session started with Sloan, their 6 year old daughter who is bursting with personality. She and big brother Alex played and laughed and enjoyed it very much when I told them jumping on their beds was a pre-requisite for my visit!

Later in the afternoon Alex had a soccer game, leaving me to be a fly on the wall while Kelly and Sloan shared some mother/daughter time. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know this family a little better and look so forward to photographing them sometime in the near future!
