I was so happy when Amy and Jeremy Elbaum asked me to do a maternity shoot for them! When friends from my past who I may no longer be connected with on a day to day basis have milestones in their lives and seek me to capture it for them, it is the greatest compliment. So I simply couldn’t wait to see them both but mostly to see the beautiful Amy and her growing belly and to meet the current baby of the family, Franny!

We started our session at their charming apartment near Washington Square Park and walked all around the bustling West Village on Halloween eve. Franny joined us and kept us all laughing for the first part of our shoot. We ended our time together in Soho stopping when the moment struck! I am so grateful for the opportunity to photograph this growing family! Thank you Jeremy and Amy! I can’t wait to meet your beautiful baby boy.
