I looked forward to this smash cake session for the last year…. Seeing as how it is my own child I was ecstatic to see how she would react to the buttery icing and the mushy cake not to mention what she would think of the taste!

Last minute I decided there was no reason not to let her big sis join in the fun and so together they smashed a delicious cake and I did my best to capture the essence of the morning. There was no early afternoon naps in my future after this though….. 🙂
