For Amy and Brad’s maternity lifestyle shoot we went out and about in Montclair, New Jersey but began our session in their home. Amy and Brad are just days away from expecting their first baby! Amy contacted me regarding a maternity lifestyle session and we talked about an easy breezy fun session that could really capture who they are right now in this special moment.

Amy plays the piano and Brad plays the guitar. Their home is brimming with colorful and inviting instruments including the piano Amy learned to play on as a child! I just love how calm and collected she was and how much she lit up when Brad looked her way or strummed on his bright red guitar. This musical couple snuggled and giggled in their bed, laughed a ton at many of the silly things we were running around doing and let me capture just how much they adore one another with my lens. I am so grateful they chose me!

We went out and about strolling around their Montclair neighborhood stopping whenever the moment felt right. Sometimes it was the curb side appeal of an old home, sometimes the front of an old church, and my favorite spot was where they will bring home their little girl for the first time, their own home.

Lucky for us, Montclair is filled to the brim with gorgeous historical buildings just waiting to be photographed. It was a picture perfect maternity lifestyle session! I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby girl!!
