A Lifestyle Session with the Melendez Family isn’t your average shoot. Jessica Gellar, award winning interior designer of Toledo Geller is not only successful, hardworking and talented, but she also plays the roll of mother of 3 and wife to Mark Melendez. She quite literally does it all! When Jessica approached me about a shoot, I was head over heels excited about working with someone with creative juices as dense as my own. Having the opportunity to shoot in and around her gorgeous Essex Fells home was truly a dream. To make this dream more enticing we added a prop we both adore, balloons. And a whole lot of them….

A few months earlier we had a Central Park session commemorating their wedding anniversary and shot in and around the infamous Bethesda Fountain where they shared their vows. You can see highlights from that session here. Knowing how fun that session was, I simply couldn’t wait to get to play with this family IN their own home. In home sessions produce an authenticity that is hard to reproduce elsewhere and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know them even better.
