Catherine Masella celebrated her 1st Holy Communion on April 28th at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Roseland, NJ.

I arrived at the Masella's new home in Essex Fells with enough time to capture her getting her hair done, playing with her siblings and with plenty of time to take images of her God Parents who flew in from Palm Beach, gifting her with a delicate cross.

It was so beautiful to watch her mother and godmother helping her get ready for such a monumental occasion. Her dress was handmade and fit for a princess. The intricate details of the dress made it truly custom, from the adorned peter pan collar, to the tufted and beaded sleeves, it quite literally fit Catherine like a glove. My favorite detail was the tiny ribbon featuring tiny kittens playing which lay on the inside rim of the petticoat. Topped with a flower crown and a very proud look in her eye, Miss Catherine's special day was positively perfect.

I am once again honored to capture such an important event for the Masella family. Looking so forward to our next session!
