A Bedtime Story with the Goldshlack Family

Shortly after my arrival at the Goldshlack’s home in New Providence, New Jersey, I knew that this little family was special. Interacting, playing, and teaching their son Maxwell was so clearly second nature to both mom and dad that my heart grew warm and fuzzy.  Maxwell LOVES books and anytime he found one in his path he would hand it to dad who then read with such gusto and animation that even I was captivated by language of Goodnight Gorilla! He had  voices for each character and a perfectly jolly disposition at every turn. Stacey is so easy going and sweet. Always smiling and playing with Max, I just kept thinking how lucky this little boy was to be so adored by his lovely parents. These super hero parents had a song for every activity! Putting socks on Max was met with the G rated version of the song ” Shots” by chanting happily ” SOCKS! SOCKS! SOCKS!” Thinking about it now makes me smile from ear to ear. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to capture their nightly traditions and to be a fly on the wall for a day in their lives.
