A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of meeting the Mellish family at their home in Montclair, New Jersey for a Bedtime Story Session with their three gorgeous children Henry, Mabel & Eden.

This was no ordinary Bedtime Story Session since it was Miss Eden’s very FIRST birthday! I am not sure who was more excited about it though Eden or her big brother and sister who are so insanely in love with her it was positively adorable.

Mom and Dad got Eden her very first cake with the intent to let her smash it until her heart was content but like many babies once her fingers touched the icing she wanted nothing more then to have it cleaned immediately. This made for some serious laughs as Henry and Mabel did their best to show their baby sister how fun it is to get messy.

After the cake smash it was on to a flurry of fun with a bubble bath, pajama party and family reading. I am honored they chose me to capture this very special time in their lives. This family was so sweet and loving and I am blessed to have met them.
