Childhood Unplugged – December

For the December edition of Childhood Unplugged we decided to repeat last year’s outing and pick out our Christmas Tree! This year we opted to go local and buy our tree right in town. At the little manmade Christmas tree farm right up the road near the historic farm in Cedar Grove.  The kids ran around the lot laughing and sniffing  every tree, drunk from the scent of pine needles and Christmas.  It was a beautiful and unnaturally warm day here in the Northeast. 67 degrees! No coats needed this time, unlike our snow filled outing last year. I love making and savoring these memories with my family. Thankful as always for Childhood Unplugged and how it pushes me to make memories when I am feeling lazy.
