Childhood Unplugged, West Palm Beach style…. We usually take a trip to visit my family in West Palm Beach, FL in late April, but this year my husbands Godchild Adelia was baptized in March and so we planned an earlier trip. The weather was perfection with long sunny days with a breeze climbing to the low 80’s during the day and the low 70’s at night. We spent every day with my family at the clubhouse pool, swimming, eating, lounging and just enjoying each others company. It was one of the BEST trips yet despite Lyla getting sick.. again. I love this first photo of Ava so much because it reminds me so much of my own childhood. I remember the feeling of the crisp water all around me in the summer time and how freeing it was. I like to think she has the same experience when surrounded by water.
