My oldest daughter loves to sit with me while I edit photos and having seen some recent bedtime story shoots she asked if I could do one with her and her sister. I was ecstatic!

One happy snow day when things weren’t as rushed as they usually are, I jumped on the opportunity. We laughed, popped bubbles, played board games, jumped on the bed and took our time walking through our nightly rituals with more ease and excitement then usual. It was such a gift.

I can’t express enough how important these moments are in our life. They are fleeting and because we do them every day they become so part of our routine that we forget how beautiful the ordinary is. A Bedtime Story shoot is about seizing the moments right now so that we can feel the “wow” factor later. It is pure magic.
