Meeting Ellie was much like meeting an old friend who I haven’t seen in a while. We hit it off right from the start as if no time had gone by. This little girl is an old soul, much like my own daughter which is why I think I adored her from the get go.

After taking me to explore her bedroom she explained her love and vast knowledge of the fairy world. She showed me all their tiny pieces of furniture and explained that only she can see them and that they visit in the evening. She had a special door that they entered and existed through and her innocence and seriousness on the matter was nothing short of beautiful.

Becoming a big sister also suits this little lady. Caroline having turned 1 the week of our shoot is one lucky baby! Ellie harbors no jealousy for her baby sister, she cuddled and hugged, kissed and was my number one helper in getting her baby sister to laugh. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed meeting Elizabeth and her two daughters. After exploring her room, and  having a pink balloon party, we got ready for our bubble bath where we watched Caroline come to life with her insanely memorable smile and giggle. Pajama party time led to jumping on the bed and more laughs with these two. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have met them and to have captured both of them as they turned another year older. Happy 6th Birthday Ellie!! Happy 1st Birthday Caroline!
